Abstract
"A Bioética já faz parte de nossas vidas, haja vista a sua inclusão em pautas de congressos, audiências públicas e, ainda, de revisão de políticas públicas de saúde. Cada vez mais identificamos a necessidade da inclusão de seus referenciais no cotidiano, em especial, no da assistência à saúde, em detrimento do avanço tecnológico que, apesar de trazer melhorias, não pode suplantar a relação humana e ética de que necessita a área da saúde para priorizar a quantidade e a otimização dos recursos financeiros. Este artigo, portanto, propõe uma discussão sobre um novo referencial bioético: o da tecnologia sustentável, o qual visa à prevalência da ética sobre os meios e instrumentos de trabalho, a fim de preservar os valores humanos" ["Bioethics is already part of our lives, due to its inclusion in guidelines of congresses, public debates and revisions of public health policies. We ever4 more identify the necessity of including its ground principles in daily practices, specially the one of health assistance, in detriment of technological advance, which, although do bring improvements, cannot supplant the relationship of human beings to ethics, something needed by the health field, to prioritize the amount and the optimization of financial resources. This article, therefore, discusses a new bioethical ground principle: sustainable technology, which aims at the prevalence of ethics on work means and instruments in order to preserve human values"]
