Abstract
As a source of livelihood in the most base level, the village is the future for the majority of Indonesian citizens. Encourage improvements to the lives of a prosperous and democratic country is one way to take care of Indonesia. In recent years these recent developments, we have good news and optimism about the future full of villages, especially in eastern Indonesia have been the ACCESS partners. The village previously patterned communal and parochial slowly driven to become a democratic civilian villages, emansipatif and responsive in serving citizens. In undergoing collaborative research with ACCESS, IRE found three good practice is now beginning to grow in rural eastern Indonesia. First, strengthening accountability, transparency and responsiveness of the village government. It is characterized by the presence of the leadership of the village chief's pro change. Second, the rise of civil society representation orgnisasi (CSO). The most notable is the rise of women's organizations in building engagement and governance of access to the village. Third, the presence of a new tradition and terlembaganya compounds (engagement) and mutual trust antaraktor and between institutions in the village. This is reflected in encouraging rural development planning. For example, the preparation RPJMDes beyond formalism.
