Abstract
Ethical beauty and indecency, which belong to the optional activities of human beings, and are the sources of issuance the ethical commands and prohibitions, were the matters of discussion from the long time ago, and the philosophers of ethics were discussing, especially, about the quality and the source of them, and they expressed some views in this aria. We know, also, a point of view about this matter from the grate contemporary philosopher, Allame Sayyed Mohammad Hosayn Tabatabaei, which is new in some aspects. His theory Contains, in our point of view, two main parts: first, the quality of the existence of ethical beauty and indecency, which are, from the opinion of Allameh, kinds of mental assumptions. Second, the source of them, which is another assumption, means the assumption of necessity and exigency, with its three branches: necessity of doing, necessity of avoiding and unnecessity. But the question: How we make the assumption of necessity, itself, to be the base of the assumptions of beauty and Indecency, is the mane part of the article, and will be discussed during that. In the present article we will explain and criticize the opinion of Allameh about the two above mane parts.
