Abstract
"We are squandering all the natural resources without foresight. Consequently ecological imbalances like Greenhouse Effect, Ozone Layer depletion, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, floods and other calamities seem to be on the increase. Every one of us is responsible for the disaster threatening the very existence of life on Earth. The reason for the problems facing mankind today appears to be over-exploitation of all the resources around us far beyond our genuine immediate needs. The question that we have to ponder is whether it is possible even now, although late, to salvage this planet and make it a habitable place for all living things." (p. 4)
