Abstract
"The clinical decision-making in postmodern era is no longer as easy as in early 20th century. Medical technology enables human kind to enjoy a better and longer life but technology itself does not possess the ability to distinguish what is ethically sound or questionable. Therefore the health professionals who utilize it have to be responsible in whatever they attempt. Many ethical dilemmas gradually appear along the way that requires health professionals to be scrupulous. The establishment of medical ethics committee has been one of the efforts in medical field to ensure the ethicality of new medicine. Its functions are three folds, namely, education, policy and guideline recommendation and case review" ["La toma de decisiones clínicas en posmoderna era ya no es tan fácil como a principios de 20a siglo. La tecnología médica permite humana tipo para disfrutar de una vida mejor y más larga, pero tecnología en sí misma no posee la capacidad distinguir lo que es éticamente sonido o cuestionable. Por lo tanto los profesionales de la salud que utilizan tiene que ser responsable de lo que sea en su intento. Muchos dilemas éticos aparecer gradualmente a lo largo de la manera que requiere profesionales de la salud para ser escrupuloso.
