Abstract
"O artigo relata a análise do filme Mar Adentro a partir da metodologia ontopsicológica de interpretação das imagens. Esta análise, complementar ao tema da bioética, busca suprir uma lacuna encontrada em trabalhos consultados, particularmente o de Pessini (2008), em que o problema central que gera a situação de vida de Ramón Sampedro, personagem principal do filme, não é suficientemente considerado na análise bioética apresentada pelo autor. Neste trabalho, parte-se da história pregressa da personagem para identificar manifestações de dinâmicas inconscientes que culminam no acidente que o deixa tetraplégico. A análise realizada fornece elementos que corroboram a hipótese de Pessini, de que o acidente do protagonista é o resultado de uma dinâmica inconsciente da personagem" ["The article reports the analysis of the film The Sea Inside from a psychological perspective and complementary to the euthanasia theme discussed in bioethics. It seeks to fill a gap found in the studies reviewed, particularly that of Pessini (2008), in which the fundamental problem that creates the life situation of Ramon Sampedro, the film’s central character, is not enough to considered in the bioethical analysis presented by the author. It starts with the character’s previous history to identify manifestations of unconscious dynamics that culminate in the accident that leaves him a quadriplegic. The use of assumptions and categories of filmic interpretation provides a more specific analysis of the potential dynamics that drive the life of a character, supporting Pessini’s hypothesis that the accident of the protagonist is the result of the character’s unconscious dynamic"]
