Abstract
This paper discusses teachers’ intelligence in the perspectives of the West and Islam. As a result, the author shows that in the perspective of the West, theories about intelligence are in numerable forms, but still within the scope of the development of human beings quality. In the perspective of Islam, intellect (al-dzaka) has several aspects and each aspect is still consistent in realizing the orientation of the worldly life and the hereafter.
