Abstract
"En una línea reflexiva y propositiva, se busca fundamentar cómo el “principio misericordia” propuesto por Jon Sobrino puede servir de columna vertebral a la formación en la vida y el compromiso de comunidades cristianas juveniles en nuestro contexto actual. Busca responder a la pregunta: ¿Se pueden hacer procesos con las comunidades juveniles buscando integrar la interioridad personal _impactada y conmovida por la realidad de injusticia _ con el crecimiento humano y cristiano? El artículo presenta algunos de los rasgos más significativos del cambio cultural en que estamos inmersos, relee una parte del caminar de la pastoral juvenil latinoamericana y presenta el “principio misericordia” acuñado por Jon Sobrino. Los puntos de encuentro entre esta clave teológica y la realidad del contexto y de la pastoral juvenil del continente se convierten en oportunidades para reflexionar y lanzar nuevas propuestas pedagógicas y metodológicas que alimenten el proceso del caminar de la Iglesia con los jóvenes." "This article explains how Jon Sobrino’s “principle of mercy” can function as the spinal cord of the life and commitment of Christian youth communities in our present context. The author answers the question, Can there be processes in youth communities that favor the integration of personal inner life – shaped and moved by the reality of injustice – with human and Christian growth? The article stresses some of the most significant features of present cultural change, underlines parts of the development of Latin American pastoral youth work and explains the “principle of mercy” as formulated by Jon Sobrino. The similarities between this theological key concept, contextual reality and pastoral youth work appear as opportunities for reflection and as a starting point for new pedagogical and methodological proposals apt to aid the processes of ecclesial youth work."
